Your First Visit
For your first visit to Excel Physical Therapy in Medicine Hat, providers of physiotherapy to Medicine Hat and region, we encourage you to wear comfortably, loose-fitting clothing that allows the physical therapist to examine the injured area.
Please bring with you a list of any prescribed medicines you are currently taking as well as over-the-counter remedies you take regularly.
Accessing Our Services
While you may be referred by your doctor or other health care professional, you may also directly access our services by contacting the clinic to set up an appointment.
Insurance
There is no funding available from Alberta Health Care for physical therapy services, but many private or employer insurance plans will cover a portion of your treatments.
If you have insurance coverage that includes physical therapy, we will do direct billing to your insurance provider when we can.
